At Plastic Supplies Dudley Ltd, we are more than happy to run a tool for 10 parts or 10,000 parts.

While 10,000 probably seems high to most people, it is still relatively low in comparison to high volume production numbers which can easily go into tens of millions.

Contrary to popular belief, it is not always true that buying products in bulk will save you money. It may be true when you are purchasing household items, but when it comes to manufacturing, cost per unit is highly dependent on the material that is being used.

Tooling for low volume runs is typically made out of aluminium.

This allows for a cheaper tool as well as a faster turnaround.
